    Tri Tip ????

    Tri Tip is a Steak! Cook it like a Steak! Direct heat and splash with olive oil every time you flip it. I mix seasoning and fruit juice with olive oil squeeze bottle. Pull after it hit 135 and rest Ten Minutes. It will go to 145. Love love love

    I know this is an old post but how did you do at Naptown? It was my first KCBS comp and. Now I'm hooked. We ended up 26 overall with one call.

    Yes, my smoker has the ability to cook with gas. It also has a fire box for charcoal and wood. Would KCBS not allow such a device? I know you can't use propane. Thanks
