I am smoking a turkey tomorrow using the receipe you emailed last week. I only have one question.

You describe to make the flavored butter and you make 1 whole pound of it. But in the instructions you say to slice only 1/3 of it into 1/8 inch slices and put them under the skin.

What did you do with the other 2/3s?

Hey, LT..I don't know want type of Compound Herb Butter you have but it can be divided, wrapped and frozen.

It is great to throw a slice or two on a Hot Steak or Broiled Fish....If it is Garlicy...Spread on Italian bread, top with Parm Cheese and bake at 400*F until Golden for Garlic Bread.

When you get a chance go over to Roll Call and give us some info about you and your equipment. Thanks...JJ
