The turkey was a 23 pounder and smoked for about 13 hours along with a large ham. I injected and basted the turkey about 1 hour before it went into the smoker. I used some Buchanan's scotch, butter, italian herbs, lemnon pepper, some chicken broth and a few other things I can't remember off the top of my head.

It was a lot of fun and the weather was perfect for it:

Great looking ham and turkey. Stuck in the desert and am not able to smoke at this time, about 4 more months then I'll be home.

Looks great, but how did the neck come out, casue we all know thats where the rubber meats the road,

Man you did a great job with both the ham and the the turkey. Was that ham already cooked it looks like it. The turkey looks nice and golden brown color and really yummo too.
