so i live in apartment building and i have neighbors upstairs. With that being said, i am having issues burning charcoal. I do worry the smoke doesnt enter their home. Is there a way to turn my char griller into a gas grill?

I would get a gas smoker and combine it with a A-Maze-N-Smoker. Use the gas for heat and the AMNS for the smoke, you will get very thin blue smoke that is almost invisible to the naked eye. Now if your neighbors complain about the smell.... well tough!  LOL

I myself, have a stainless big gas grill, char griller smoking pro that's used ONLY for smoking and a table top charcoal grill. The tabletop is big enough for the wife and me. The gas grill is used when I'm either too lazy for charcoal or in the winter time when it's too cold for me to fidget with charcoal. I used to do gas only, but I have taken an interest in charcoal. So, this winter I'll be smoking while there's 2 foot of snow on the ground and/or while it's snowing and using the gas for all other cold days.
