Wife headed out of town on a business trip so it's time for a man to fend for himself. A quick look in the fridge didn't yield much so it was off to the market for me. A quick trip in and out got me 2 pounds of ground chuck and a bag of buns.
I prepped them with some powdered garlic... onion powder...black pepper...one egg and some seasoned bread crumbs.
I set the Mes at 230...water pan dry...one row of hickory in the A-maze-N and it's off to the races.... A hour and 20 minutes later they hit 154 and out of the smoker they came.
They turned out great...juicy...smokey...tender...just the way i like them!!!
Topped them with some swiss cheese..a hand full of chips...i was set for the evening. The great thing was 2 left for lunch the next day!!!
Maybe this wife leaving for a week isn't such a bad thing...A man and his smoker....Plus total control of the remote!!!
