I just did these...just spog and 4hrs over Pecan. Did them on the lower level of the mini wsm with street corn on top. Came out amazing.
Don't get me wrong. I like me some pork ribs... But at $7 for an 8 rib rack for these boys I now have my go to ribs.
Maybe it just an Aussie thing?

For me personally, I love beef ribs ! When I see meaty ones (which is seldom) in the store, I buy em all. But like I say, it's seldom as they are usually just bones with very little meat. I like em after I smoke my PR too, dang tasty ! But getting some custom cut beef in a few weeks & gonna hopefully have them cut me some good ol meaty ones out of it !

Yours look real tasty ! Thumbs Up

I think it's the fact there isn't much meat on them, unless you cut your own. I was about to get some last week there was one great pack the rest were almost bare!! Maybe I need to befriend a couple butchers.

Maybe I've been lucky. But I've seen center cut ribs at Wally World across a most of the southern states? $7-8 a pack?

Hello.  I used to buy them quite often back in Texas.  Well the short ribs that is.  I can't find them in England.  I am working on that.  I think maybe the "mad cow" thing had something to do with it.  Usually can find a T-bone either.  They didn't sell beef on the bone for years.  Very versatile cut of meat.  Low ans slow in the smoker, in the oven or braised on the cook top; low and slow.  Keep Smokn!

I did a few beef ribs a while back, and they were super veiny. Huge veins running right next to the bones and not much meat. I've had my eye out for some good looking short ribs, but I won't try any other beef ribs again.

Hi Danny, picked some up from Bookers the other week.

Fads....Right now brisket is popular. I remember when skirt stake was popular. Give it time and soon beef ribs will be popular and you will not be able to get then anymore. In other words be glad they are "unpopular"

As for me I love beef ribs, Betst thing about a standing rib roast, you get beef ribs and sliced prime rib combined.
