Glass will get warm but i don't think it will get hot enough to burn skin. might want to do a heat test on the glass while cooking.

Eman, you are correct. Glass is definatelu warm, but not so hot that it burns you. My youngest touched it this evening and all he said was "hot" and pulled his hand away. No crying at all.
