I planted this as per Daves instructions and it was time to pull them today...

This is from the garlic he sent me last year...

Awesome!!!  Not too shabby for my first gardening in a long time...

Now they are off to the shade to dry!!

      Thanks again Dave...

I have never been able to get them but I understand the Bulb, unpeeled, and stem is all edible straight out of the ground and delicious. Have you ever tried it this way?...JJ

They look great.  I have tried planting garlic a couple times with no luck.  Enjoy

  6. Looks good.  Mine are still in the raised bed with my spring onions.  Would like to pull em out soon to make room for the summer veggies.

I need to move south. I would have to snow blow to find the garden. Congratulations on your garlic success!

Woodcutter.....  Hardneck garlic needs cold and snow to grow well..... I have grown commercial garlic here for 5 years.... zone 5b.... snow on the ground for 4 months and the garlic grows under the snow all winter....    Hardneck is 100 times better than the soft neck California varieties...  Dave
