I think I posted this question in the wrong place (Jerky) earlier.  Sorry!

Getting ready to cure &smoke my first BBB and Pork Belly Bacon.

Looks like I will have to purchase one of the Morton's curing products on-line,as I can't seem to find any in the local stores.

My question is: Which Morton's product should I buy?

1. Morton's Tender Quick Mix

2. Morton's Sugar Cure

3. Morton's Sugar Cure Smoke Flavored

I gave you my opinion at the other place, but here it is again:

All I ever use is #1---- "MTQ"

A few guys have been using #2 ----Morton's Sugar Cure, as it is interchangeable with MTQ.

Smoke flavored----#3---- is not interchangeable with TQ, and personally I would not recommend it for that reason.

My Opinion,

Bear

I can't get Morton's Sugar Cure here, so I've only tried TQ.

Now, I use Cure #1 and mix my own
