Been planning on a 60 gallon compressor tank build. Came home from town a few weeks back to find what looked to be a propane tank inside the fence. Upon closer inspection it was a refrigerant storage tank. It is about the same length as the compressor tank but quite a bit larger in diameter than the compressor tank. It is just the 2 of us. Only cook one rack of ribs at a time....ditto for Tri Tips/butts/chuckies etc. so length of the cc is not all that important. Just wondering if a larger diameter cc cooks better than a smaller one. Will post a picture of both tanks side by side if anyone is interested

I like the gray and white one !!

Going to build one out of the 60 gallon compressor tank first. Let me make the mistakes out of the way on the first one....lol....but now that I know I will the larger diameter will function better I may "experiment" some on the first one....
