I am looking for some recipes for baked beans.  I want to add some smoked butt in it and whip my own sauce.  Just curious if there are some recipes here and if they are in a certain forum I am missing?

Well it looks like Brian has beaten me to it. You needed to find them under D for Dutch's baked beans. Here's some beans that we make. The recipe is in a link in this thread

My Gramma's "recipe" never written down, of course, that I grew up with is really similar to Dutch's.  His is a great base to experiment from. I like mine a bit more spicy and savory, so I leave out the pineapple, go light on the bell pepper, and tinker with the spices depending on what I want that day.  We loved my Gramma's beans so much, my sisters and I would eat them cold for breakfast in the summer!

I highly recomend Dutch's Wicked baked beans.... especially with some chopped up rib meat or hot links added to them. They are a food group unto themselves... lol.

I made the mistake once of making Dutch's beans for a gathering, and now whenever I invite people over, they always ask me to make sure I make "those" beans again. Probably the best sidedish on the planet.

I made a large batch of Dutch's baked beans and added a pound or two of smoked pulled pork.   I always make extra brisket, sausage, etc and freeze it in foodsaver sealed bags. Some of that ends up joining the bacon from the original recipe with the beans.  People destroyed those beans.  They are the most requested side dish.
