I work part time for a local fire dept & also part time for an EMS service as an EMT Basic.

I am also going to nursing school. I start the 2nd level of 4 levels next week...I am so ready to get that over with!

Very cool. I think nurses have some of the most difficult jobs out there.

33 years in the power generation business. Dumping ash as a newbie, many years in control room firing boilers and spinning turbines. Working swing shift for most of those years. Now working as an analyst in the field, remotely overseeing rotating equipment and power systems for my company's entire fossil fleet. No more swing shift, but still 7 day coverage.

Field service Engineer for a large Aerospace Company. Just a fancy name for a Tech Rep better known as the buck stops here guy.

I worked for 34 years in the travel industry - my company retired me 4 years ago. I'm one of the fortunate ones with a legacy plan pension payment. I play a little golf, enjoy the grandchildren, and my bride and I have started taking car trips. We're recently back from the World Golf Hall of Fame in St Augustine, FL.

Like Sisco, I'm also a Patriot Guard Rider.

I worked as a Sr. Systems Engineer for 15 years and got tired of traveling. So I started a construction co. with two employees for the first three years growing to 35. We built apartment buildings, schools, and motels. I returned from Lubbock TX recently remodeling a Marriott Residence Inn and have two basement remodels and a whole house remodel going now. The economy sucks in MI but I am pretty active in promoting my business so we stay pretty busy. I'm 50 now and am trying to think of a way to start weening myself from the day to day operations and start enjoying life. But everytime I start to get away from it someone takes advantage of the boss not being there. So basically I'm also a babysitter.

I am an Operations Supervisor for a distribution center. Been doing this for 15 years. When not at work which is not often, I can be found doing my favorite hobbies, grillin, camping in our fiver, drinking beer, and my new hobby smoking bbq.

I quit my day job 4 years ago and keep my focus on growing http://beefjerky.com I started it in 1995.

The beef jerky is made in a USDA inspected private label factory in the LA area.

I write & maintain the Beefjerky.com website, do the marketing & promotions, address and stuff the envelopes, and go to the Post Office. My schedule and time are my own.

Most days require a whole hour of my time to make a living.
