i handle claims for a "main street" independent insurance agency in north-central montana.

if anyone has any basic questions (home, auto, commercial etc.), feel free to PM me. i'd be happy to offer opinions based on my research and experience, but please, check my advice with your agent due to differences in policies, state laws etc. my advice and/or opinions are jsut that and should not be the final say in your decision-making.

also, for those who do this "smoking thang" commercially, i've got a list of a few dozen companies that would do business with you (catering, special events vendors etc.). i'd be happy to share the list, but once again, please take it to your agent, who can best advise you or check with these companies on your behalf.

Co-own a catering company, Two Loose Screws BBQ. We specialize in American Kobe beef, and organic pork. We do a lot of corporate catering try to stay away from weddings.

Many ask about the name, all I can say is tequila was involved.

Self employed computer expert - but looking to move into food next year.

Also considering developing lines in smoked/cured foods for retail.

But for now I just sort peoples computer problems out - feel free to contact me with your computer problems , hell everybody else does :-)

Newspaper courier and college student, part time bbq cook (for some friend's parties)

Also, semi-professional rake, rogue, rapscallion, skirt-chaser, alcohol taster, vinter, soapier and couple's therapist...(ironic, that, considering the level of 'bad' in my last breakup-separation...odd thing is, she and I are on 'semi-speaking' terms again. C_A, that would be why there've been no repeats of 'the cuppycake incident' on the other forum)

I am a master fabrication superviser for local food company here in Albuquerque. I also run my own fab. shop, i build from motorcycles to custom equipment for company's.

Late seeing this - been a cop for 23 years. The last 15 as Chief - small town - small department - not easy, not often well liked, but still a great job! 4.5 years to go and I can retire!!!!!

Been employed in the oil/gas industry since 1983. I drove heavy diesel truck for about 10 years. I was a Safety Supervisor for 8-1/2 years for a contract company (this is a vague job title for someone who basically handles everything to do with safety).

I held various technician licenses and certificates of qualifications and/or was experienced in fire extinguisher service, low and high pressure hydrostatic testing of pressure vessels, kitchen grease hood extinguishing systems, overhaul level maintenance on SCBA (self contained breathing apparatus). Calibration/testing of fixed system toxic/flammable gas and fire detection systems, handheld gas detectors, including intermediate level printed circuit board repair. Also, supervision of potentially hazardous job sites (largest having in excess of 1,400 workers on site). Emergency Response Team member: Low-Angle/High-Angle and Confined Space Rescue, EMT/Basic Emergency Care provider, Level I, II, III and V Hazwoper trained (hazardous waste operations and emergency response), level V being Incident Commander. Instructor for a battery of industrial safety related courses/topics. Travel for emergency response to large incidents when spe******ts of my fields of qualification were needed. This is just a sample of what I was doing then. It was a good job, but the pay lacked sometimes.

I'm back in the trucks again since August, 2000 (still in the oilfield) and still doing something I enjoy without a bundle of job stress to go with it. I have 13-1/2 years experience in my current job, hauling petroleum crude oil. It's the best job there is in the oilfield with great pay. And I'm home everynight, so my kids always know who their dad is when he shows up at the door...talking from experience, this is important!!! I've never drawn on an unemployement check, which is pretty important too.

Later, folks. Enjoy the forum.
