After doing tons of research and wanting to move on to an offset while still using my UDS, I was nearly set on a wrangler. But on their own website they offer different smokers. The have a 16" all American one that has square fire box and is 3/16 for 760.00. Which is thicker then a wrangler. There is an old country model that is 16" and 1/4 for 700.00. It has the same size fire box as a pecos, which the wrangler has a smaller fire box.

I go to call to enquirer about shipping quote and I get no answer. I call the second number and it's someone's cell phone. I know the first number is correct because academy lists that number as their customer service number to call for problems with their smokers. So I send them an email and get no reply. Their voice mail yesterday still had a message about them being gone from November 25-28 or something like that. And today I called back and their voice mail has changed to a usual one.

Has anyone here recently bought a pit odd their website? I'm interested in the 1/4 steel one. Although the square box is cool and more room, the 1/4 is more important to me. I also don't want to spend the 400.00 more for a brazos (with tax). Plus it's huge and it's just my wife and I.

Thanks guys
Jon
