What's up guys and gals my name is Johnnie and I am from Virginia. Mechanicsville to be more precise. I have been smoking meat for some time now with my Brinkman Electric Smoker. I got a Char-broil Silver Smoker for Christmas to take Smoking to a whole new level. I love my Electric but it has its limitations(size and nothing else can be plugged in while it is cooking.). Look forward to learning as much as I can and getting to make a few friends along the way.....

Welcome aboard. Lots of info and mods on this site for your type of smokers. As for your old smoker being the only thing you can plug in at when using it, sounds more like you have some overloaded curciuts in your home or out of date wiring in the house. Your smokers shouldn't draw that much. Just my 2 cents. But glad to have you here.

Welcome to the site. I don't live to far from you. I'm in Varina.
Have the Silver smoker as well.
It does a good job once you mod it.
Hope you keep coming back.
Goodluck.

Hello Johnnie, glad to know you're part of the great SMF. As you've probably noticed, we are a friendly bunch and we like to share smokes and Q Views. There's plenty to learn, and plenty to enjoy. It's all good.
