    Mine is Empty,

    I'm still nursing that Prime Rib I smoked Thursday.

    Lost 3 pounds since Wednesday!

    I'm on the new "Prime Rib Diet".

    Here too...[​IMG] I just started digging through my outdoor Q-freezer yesterday, and I stumbled upon a vac-seal package dated 11-06-09, containing part of my first batch of spicy canadian bacon. I also found a smoked whole yard bird carcass which I saved for making chicken soup. Yea, I've put tons into the freezer over the past year or so, and I need to do a clean-out just to see what else is in there. I also have some meat market country style sausages, and some locally grown hog pieces (some processed, some raw), some side pork and about 100lbs of other meats to sort through and come up with a plan for what to do with it. Not my idea of fun, but maybe, just maybe, I'll run accross something that will spark some inspiration for a smoke on my next days off............

    Also, I'm in the final planning stages of a smoker build, and lousy weather is preventing me from developing any momentum to go out and start the assembly today.

    Anyway, I've had a helluva week, with a couple really good smokes to go with it, so I'm content to just lay back today and catch some q-views and some R & R before I go back to the money earning mode on Sunday...LOL!!!!!!

    I'll be hangin' out here most of the day, so don't forget those q-views!

    Nothing now, but in a few hours there will be a brisket then tomorrow a chuckie will be added.

    Buckboard bacon in the GOSM right now. i have two huge t-bones and some portabellas for the grill later and I have a pork butt I'm gonna put in the drum in the morning..

    Two pork butts. First one marinated in apple beer and the other in "route" beer for a day . The apple beer on got rubbed with raspberry chipotle and the other with butt rub.  spritzing with apple beer and red stag bourbon.

  19. Empty smoker this weekend but had some great enchiladas tonight made with some pulled pork from the previous smoke.

    Just put a 13lb 10oz packer brisket in the drum at 9:15 tonight.  Got my smokes, plenty of coals and a few cold ones for a long night of fun!
