What to do after you smoke fish?

  1. So I have a problem, after I smoke some fish in my smoker, everything else after that will have a fishy taste to it. Any body have a way to get rid of that?

    I'm curious as to the answer here , I have spare Smokers to do fish in ... when I get some . It  'was' my cheese smoker until I changed that to a box.

    Same here. The little cheif gets fish duty. timber
  4. Maybe run the smoker real hot with smoke? That's what I would try anyway...

    KJ Welcome to SMF you do not say what kind of smoker you have. I have an MES40, that I use for all my smokes, never had an issue with fish smell or taste transferring on the next smoke. I leave the door open after a smoke,usually wash the glass door.
