Hey guys I'm looking to get into smoking. I love cooking everything on the grill. I love charcoal. What kind of smoker should I get to start, what kind of chips or pellets do I use?

We need more info. I am thinking you want charcoal from your post. Other than that how many people will you be cooking for? do you want a set and forget or a hands on smoker? What is your price range?

I see this is your first post. When you get a chance will you drop by roll call so everyone can give you a proper SMF welcome?

Happy smoken.

David

Mule is right,   smokers are really a personal choice, depending on a lot of info.

Well thanks for the responses. I do want a charcoal. I do want a set and forget because I like to take pride in my cooking. I saw one at bass pro its a brinkmann vertical trailmaster. it was about 270. I plan for about 5-10 people. and that looks big enough.http://www.basspro.com/Brinkmann-Vertical-Trailmaster-Smoker-and-Grill/product/13090606262816/

What do you think about it I attached the link.
Jon,
The search bar at the top of every page is your best friend here if you want info. Just type in Brinkman Verticle Trail Master hit search and you will get many past threads about it!
Keep Smokin!!!
