Would I upset you guys if I told you we grow are garden year around? Nothing is perfect, I have to have 2 garden plots so I can replant my new crop before my old crop quits producing.

Java A friend of mine already lived here he wanted me to come down and look at a property investment.I liked what I seen spent some time going back and forth.Met a bunch of people including my wife. The first time we went to visit some of my wifes family when we dropped into the valley where they live I new where I was going to hang my hat.Been here ever since.

Just so no one gets confused Columbia is in South Carolina I am in Colombia South America    hahahahahahahhahaah

Java Almost there just not yet.I have some nice farm land except it is not where I want to live.I want to be farther out of town.I am working on picking up some more land and when I do it will let me build my smokehouse and a few other things on my list. Then I will have it made.

sure beats living in colorado, the price of ground you can run a few cows on is over the moon.

I am just jelous or cant you tell.

I just received my starts..... won't be long now........
I tried starts once.... they all died. Didn't realize the moisture they required! Swore would never do again and haven't. Do great with sets every time if they haven't froze out.

Planted some garlic and dill last weekend. Ground still too cold / wet to work. Rhubarb is starting to sprout.....asparagus won't be too far behind.

I don't know about the rest of you, I love winter cold snow under my boots, ice crystals in the trees. But I'm done this year.....come on Spring!

Started my jalapeños in anticipation of warmer temps.

I know what you mean about the snow. Here in the mountains, you better like snow! However, now that there are bare patches showing in my yard, I am ready for spring. I am particularly waiting for the snow to get off the bed I planted my garlic in last year. Every year I worry it won't sprout. Every year it sprouts. Come on spring, I want to see that garlic!
