I love my WSM and enjoy using it.

However, there is one thing that really pisses me off! Though, more than likely it's an operator issue.

The center ring/section sticks to the lower charcoal bowl to the point where on my last smoke I couldn't take them apart. It was a PIA to start a fire. I haven't done it yet but, I'm assuming that after being used and the smoker still warm it'll come apart easy and a quick wipe-down should take care of my troubles. The dampers stick pretty good also but come loose fairly easily. I will definitely put some wheels on the beast because dragging it in and out of the garage is getting old also.

Do you have any issues and/or solutions?

I love my WSM and enjoy using it.  Absolutely!

This has me perplexed.  I've never had this issue with mine.  Are drippings causing the two to stick together or is it just a tight fit?  Watch, mine will start sticking now!

The dampers stick pretty good also but come loose fairly easily.  I've had this issue, especially once it gets hot.  Dissimilar metals.  I just put on my silicone gloves and move them.

I will definitely put some wheels on the beast because dragging it in and out of the garage is getting old also.  Mine stays put in the backyard.

Do you have any issues and/or solutions?  Only the door, which pissed me off initially, even got a new free door from Weber.  It was no better than what I had.

This was about the third or fourth time it has happened where the two sections stuck together. I was in a hurry to get the fatty going yesterday so I just dealt with it. Yes, I believe the cause is from the drippings and possibly expansion and contraction. When cold and not stuck together, it's a nice fit. The lid is a snap fit, which I like. My dampers also only stick when cold, but like I said, that's no big deal. Haven't taken it apart since last night, but, if it's still stuck (and probably will be) I'll take my heat-gun to it for a bit to loosen it up and clean it.
