what do i do

  1. if my turkey is stuck at 140 please let me know as soon as you can

    You can wait it out or take it inside and thrown it in the oven at about 350 to 375.

  4. i think i just jumped the gun it is at 160 now thanks for the replys my new thermometer sais it was don in two hours so i took my old meter out there and it said 140 but it is going up i dont know what is wrong with the new one

    No Sweat. Mom (Debi) has your back. You are probably in the process of working through the plateau. But you don't want to stay at the 140F level too long, for health reasons. If in doubt follow her directions and move to the oven this time. Better safe than sorry.

    It YOU ARE working on up to higher temps, be patient and ride it out. I think you will be fine.

    Hope you have a probe thermometer for internal breast and thigh temps. If so, let them be your guide. If not, then you may want to borrow a manual probe type from a neighbor, so you know where you are at.. Just guessing isn't a good thing.

  9. everything turned out fine i got a atta boy for the turkey from the inlaws. i got pictures but my daughter is going to show me how to put them on here.to
