What are you smoking this Thanksgiving

Gonna do 2 birds, one in the ECB, Buttermilk Brine (Thanks chisoxjim) with Smoked Gravy (Thanks BBQengineer).

The other one in the oven with Mom's Sausage Apple stuffing. Gravy from the drippings on that one too...

Garlic Mash Potatoes, Yams (

) for the Mrs. and Daughter, Roasted Veggies, Crannberry-Orange relish with Grand Marnier, and bisciuts.....

Pies for dessert? Oh Yeah!!

Got the whole week off, so I get to play....

SAME as last year. I'm pretty traditional...

I'm cooking for 8.

Oven-roasted turkey, 10 - 12 lbs.
green bean casserole (special recipe - no cr. of mush. soup)
stuffing
corn bread casserole
baked sweet potato pie
cranberry & spinach salad w/ toasted almonds
mashed russets and gravy

On the smoker, just a 6 lb. ham and a chub of JD Maple, that will be sliced and fried the next day in a skillet, for the few that are spending the night and will need breakfast.

Oh - and ABT's on the smoker too - I'm planning to throw those ON, once the ham and turkey get wrapped in foil for their rest before carving. The way I see it...eat at noon, ABT's done at 2:30 pm or so...great snack before dinner

I am smoking a big cigar, drinking some crown and watching TV cause Thanksgiving dinner chores belong to the women.

I'm not sure just yet maybe a turkey breast since it will only be the wife and I and maybe some straglers tring to find some good eats as usual. So I'll probally do a turkey or a fattie would be good woth the turkey dinner stuffing. Some turkey, vegis, cranberries, stuffing, and then potatoes. With a side of pumpkin pie.
