I was in my local Harris Teeter today and saw turkeys are going for 47 cents/lbs until the 15th. That is the best deal I have seen so far. I am thinking about loading a few into the deep freeze for later this year. What are you guys seeing?

Not close to .47 /lb. .69 /lb is the cheapest so far.

Local Shaws-.$.49/lb, limit 2, local Hannaford $.59/lb limit 1, I'm gonna try one of the smaller markets or the only wholesale meat processor left in my area.

I saw .49 for frozen "basted" turkey.

I'm not even sure I can get one that's not been pumped

Got a Whole Foods nearby? That is where we get our Thanksgiving turkey from. Fresh, not frozen, and not injected.

Our local store is BOGO at $1.29
