West Virginia Smokin - Ralph

  1. Hey everyone.   My name is Ralph.  I've been smoking meat now for about 3+ years and have found that not only do I love it, but it is an absolute addiction.

    I started with a Char-griller propane grill that I added a side fire box to.  I've smoked some pork butts, tons of ribs, and tons of deer meat in it.  I've cold smoked 4 hams and 12 slabs of bacon in it as well.

    I just received an analog MES for Father's Day and have already smoked ribs, a pork loin, and chicken drumsticks on it. 

    I smoke meat as often as I can afford it or kill it myself.

    I've been reading on this forum for about a year now, but just today created a profile.   I look forward to contributing to this as well as using it for questions and to better my own abilities.

  6. Thanks guys. I'm gonna smoke some of my candied bacon wrapped venison Friday/Saturday this week for a cookout.
