hi all, i gotta tell ya i really like this site! i've been on here for a while now and just hadn't gotten around to the intro yet. i went thru the 5 day e course and man that was a great way to start off! i got started into smoking when the local plumbing wholesaler started carrying traeger smokers and got hooked immediately. it's been almost 3 years since i bought the traeger and now i see what i've been missing. the site has taught me alot and opened my eyes to a whole new world of smoking... from UDS smokers to reverse flows, i want one of each of'em! the qview is great! and there is plenty of it too. thanks to the folks that put this thing together and keep it going! i'm currently building several uds smokers and a mini reverseflow. the info on this site is amazing and there is loads of it.
a little about myself now... i live near fort leonard wood missouri in a town called rolla. i repair restaurant and commercial refrigeration equipment for a living and i sell equipment as well. i have been in the industry for 16 years now. i freaking love to cook and i like to do it for others as well like gatherings of family and friends. i want to start curing my own meats soon and also make sausage as well. i hope i can be as much help to others on this site as much as they have helped me!
