So this weekend we are going to try again with a Top round and a rack of ribs. After last weekend we did a few mods that I hope will help out. I have attached our qview before we started. Wish us luck.

Question about the ribs....This will be the first time I try and smoke some ribs. How long or what temperature should I cook the baby back ribs? I will be smoking @ 200-225.

whoot done and OMG soooooo good. What a difference the ribs fell off the bone and the round was to die for. WOW what a change from a few weeks ago. This smoke was the best so far!

I will post qview of the final product tomorrow and cuts as well.

Glad everything turned out OK for you.

Thank you very much we could not have done it with out SMF and the excellent advice I was able to get here.

The baffle plates are just temporary until I can forge some real ones. The coal basket helped out a great deal. We did have a bit of time getting the right amount of coals to maintain 200-225 with zero thick smoke! We were a bit worried until we started slicing the round and saw that ring. It is true just because you can not see smoke does not mean you are not smoking...who knew hehe.

Still have two rounds to smoke today but this time I am going to use Oak and Cherry. Ding Ding Ding Round 3 here we come! Just need to refill the beer and booze.

Round 3 went great perfect medium rare with plenty of juice to make some great gravy! Everything went great with the football game. Go SKINS!

Made some more mods to the silver smoker that worked out and will post some pic's tomorrow.
