im looking for something for just steaks and burgers.   I have spent way to much time and effort on my Memphis trying to get the smokey charcoal taste. so I am looking  for help on a charcoal grill to compliment my pellet grill. thanks!

thanks, but after 3 yrs and having lots of smoke coming out out of my pellet grill  I think im trying to force my Memphis into being something it isn't. besides it will be nice to have 2 grills. so is the weber the best kettle? the Napoleon (@ All Things BBQ  in Wichita Ks.) has cast iron grates and 3 grate positions, any ideas? Thanks for your opinions.

P.S. 56yrs old grew up with charcoal grills.

If the Napoleon's bottom vents seal tight then go for it... I know the Webers does which makes controlling temps easy. Imo cast iron grates etc..are great but not so much if you have leaky controls.
