Idaho
Long time lurker,  in fact I'd say a little over a year and half. And just finally getting around to actually posting something.   I first followed a guide here how to mod a walmart smoker into something that actually works. And since then have made some pretty dang good bbq.  Last fall my wife had me build her a cold smoker addon to that same unit and we made some pork belly bacon strips that were to die for.

So I've learned a lot from just idling in the background but the wife has talked me into building her something bigger.  I have picked up a 80 some gallon propane tank and am going to take a crack at Reverse flow.

Nice thing about Idaho,  We've got an abundance of opportunities to hunt and fish.  So gonna make the wife happy and have something ready by spring for her annual birthday's in may party.  (we have about 5 people in May only days apart).  Last year we buried a pig underground for the event,  this upcoming she's wanting to smoke one,  Hence the project....

Doesn't hurt we have freezer's full of cow, lamb and pig.  (Her family raises for slaughter, cheaper than market prices that's for sure)

Welcome. What part of Idaho are you in?
Jerome,  but work out of Rupert,  Have family in Boise, Twin Falls,  Pocatello and Aberdeen.  I think I got most of the southern part of the state covered :P
