Wasn't planning to smoke today, but .....

    Friends coming over tonight for dinner and we're doing souvlaki on the grill as well as Greek salad and roasted potatoes.

    Bought a whack of pork tenderloin chops at Costco awhile back and before I could repackage them, my son fired them in the freezer.

    Had to defrost the whole package today and there was way more then we need for dinner (marinating on the left).

    So, I covered the extra portions in Cajun Foreplay and tossed them on the smoker. Plan to foil at 165 and then keep going so we can have pulled pork tomorrow.


    And since the smoker's going now anyway, might as well throw on some appetizers too. :)

    Looking forward to this!

    We love souvlaki, but have never made it ourselves.

    There's a great Greek restaurant here that we go to at least once a month & always get the souvlaki.

    I have GOT to see an end product! A bar down the road makes souvlaki...I have not had it, but it make my mouth water.

    ABTs were straightforward - shredded cheese, bacon and peppers.

    Didn't get a pic of the souvlaki, but here's the pulled pork we had for dinner tonight
