Washington State newbie in here

Hello,

I would like to thank you for a great site.  I have been lurking for a couple nights and have

already picked up a lot useful information.  I found this site by searching for ideas on a

home built smoker,  but after seeing the entry level electrics i may start there.  My thinking

is that ill struggle less and it will be easier to get help or advice with a common entry level

model.  I was surprised on the selection of products for 300.00 or less.  Also I think ill

figure out what I want in my home built  if I have actually done it a little.  I will take the e

class before any purchase.  I plan to make deer jerky and fish,  but am sure other foods

will grab my attention.

 Welcome Jesse.  That sounds like a good plan for starting out. Learn by doing then build what you want later.
