Hello to all of you out there in smoke land! So I'm trying out my new MES30 for the first time. I got it for Christmas. I figured I jump into it in a big way by smoking a butt. Five hours and counting. Can't wait to try it. My mouth is watering more just thinking about it. I'll let you know how it turns :grilling_smilie:out.

Glad you joined us ebnut, congrats on the new MES and :welcome1: from North Dakota!
Looking forward to hearing and hopefully seeing you first smoked pulled pork!

Welcome to the group! Congrats on that new MES!  You'll find that this is a great place to share ideas on smoking, grilling, etc.  There are plenty of folks here who genuinely enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to seeing how that butt turns out, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.

Hello and welcome from East Texas. This is a great site, lots of information and great people that are willing to throw in their two cents worth on about anything.

I'm in Greene county just north of Charlottesville. Thanks for the "advice" about pacing myself. I'm trying to upload the picture of the masterpiece. Or at least it is in my eyes and to my nose.

Nice! I have pulled it this morning and reheated in the smoker with the juice and man how tasty it is. Hope all my future endeavors end so tasty. Good luck with the double.
