Well I bet it is built better then the ones that you can buy today. Now I would make sure that the blade is sharpened and use it what can you loss.??

I've got one of these old hand grinders somewhere from my Grandmother. how does one sharpen one of these? I may have to try making my own sausage...
I don't know anything about grinders, but Griswold made the finest cast iron pots ever. I scour gargage sales and junk shops looking for those things.
