My name is Don I'm a firefighter in Tennessee I'm very new at this smoking game but love every last minute of it. Right now I have a Charbroil offset smoker and I'm having trouble keeping a constant temp. I'm making a charcoal box and going to weld the door shut on it with a modified air door. I look forward to learning from some good people.

Welcome Don, sure glad ya joined us ! Your a firefighter, that's a very respectable & much needed job....

As far as your temp issue on your smoker, ya may start a thread & ask other Charbroil owners as they may be able to help ya out ! Bound to be someone on here that has the same smoker as you.... Good luck & we'll see ya around the forum !
