i bought this on Amazon to be able to reduce/control my ECB temps which were on the high side at 250-290F. Search Amazon for Ventech...

I used an outlet in my garage, then a 25ft 12/3 extension thur the garage mini window to the side yard, then into the ECB (red gourmet Brinkman). The Ventech got really hot and made this nasty plastic burning smell in the garage, but I was able to get the short ribs done (220-240F). I left the Ventech plugged in, but switched to OFF. Later I notice the fuse is all melted and popping off. I'm gonna return but now I need to figure out how to lower my temps

I used a flat piece of thin metal to cover the airflow hole. Later I measured the temp with different sized drill holes and scratched the temps into the plates. I had about 5 or so different plates.
