Allright, hit me with your favorite venison balogna recipe please!!!
HMMMMM.... looks likes folks are kinda tight lipped about that subject! As far as commercial mix's go, I will go as far as saying that I like Con Yeager Spice Company's mix. I never bothered to formulate my own, I have a lot of books with numerous recipes for V. Bologna and they're similar, some call for a little more of this or less of that, some with jalapenos -n- cheese, etc. etc. It's really up to you to do a little research and don't be afraid to experiment!! Remember, it's about what YOU like.
I have always considered bologna and hotdogs to be very close cousins and what will season one will work for the other.
Thanks guys. I have about ten recipes that I'm looking at. I'm going to make three different versions I guess. One with standard stuff, one sweet & one spicey.
