Using an old fuel barrel for uds?

Is this safe? Unfortunitly I moved away from my old barrel I was about to convert and I could not fit it in my car. The town I am living in has a Pacific Pride and tons of barrels (which I assume are used for fuel).

There is also tons of downed wood I could grab to a have a burn for days to clean it out. Will that be good enough?

as long as you burn it out real good, it should work fine.

A few good burns, and you'll be fine with it.

If you burn it good it will probably work but if I had the choice I would definately go with a food grade barrel.

Engine degreaser then a burnout should clean it fine - certainly the degreaser got mine clean down to nice and shiny metal before the burnout.
