So I had an idea...I searched the forums and didn't find anything like this, so here goes - what I flipped the drum upside down and used the lid on the bottom. That way I could cut off the "bottom" - now the top - and the Weber lid on the top, and make it super easy to clean up ash from the bottom. Just lift up the drum and all the ash is left on the bottom. Anyone seen one like this or tried it with any kind of success? I'm a little hesitant to try it given it took so long to find an unlined drum and don't want to mess up a good one trying something out. Thoughts?
