Currently in the process of building what I coin as the "Ultimate Drum Smoker" :)

Brand spanking new 55 gallon steel drum
Weber grates and lid
5"x12" Stainless exhaust tip
SS lid hinge
Drum dolly
Smoke daddy pellet hopper assembly
Smoke daddy magnum pig
Sand blast
Powder coat
Led Lights
Round 1 piece granite table
Granite heat sink diffuser
And lots more. Here is where I am at with it now. Stay tuned :)

I've been pondering whether i wanted a pooper UDS for a while....got too many smokers as is though. The only reason i might is for sausage and jerky.    You might need more exhaust put in your Weber lid than the stock exhaust so keep that in mind.   Dennis ended up putting a bunch of exhaust in his prototype.

I have a 12"x5" chrome exhaust tip for the vent pipe :)

How are you going to attach it to the drum lid? Been wanting to do something like this for a while now but just can't figure that part out.

It is a bolt on. So where the factory weber vent was i took it off and will weld a 4" take off pipe to attach it too. I had to do it this way since I am sandblasting and powder coating everything.

Incredible 1 day turn around at the powder coater has put me way ahead of schedule. He did an amazing job on the drum, lid and drum cart. All high gloss black and flawless. Half way through the final assembly. Here are some pics.

Hey there buddy,
I see that you listed the granite ring and some LEDs. I understand the granite ring for a work surface but what are the LEDs for?
