Just built my  own UDS.  Am looking to learn how to smoke any and every type of meat and nibbles.  Have tried briskets, pork shoulders, chicken quarters so far.  Good results but need to keep shoulders moister.  Is apple juice a good moisturizer?

Welcome Dakota Don! Great to see another UDS Man. Apple juice will help. Are you wrapping them in foil? Smoke them for a few hours, wrap them in foil and finish them off. Mine always come out very moist this way. Lets see photos of that UDS and some finished product. Glad to have you with us! Jeff
