Finished my UDS today. Threw some charcoal in to season it up and then play with the temp controls.

Here she is, need to give her one more coat of paint.



Notice the folding chair thermo holder mod.

And a little shot of some thin blue.



I was quite surprised at how little you have to adjust the ball valve to make a difference in the air flow and temps. I cant wait to fire this up with some food on it on Sunday.

Thanks again for all of the tips and advise from the people at SMF. I could not have done it without you.

Nice job on the smoker looks mighty fine. I sure it will be well used and full of yummy things.

What kind of fitting did you use for the hole your thermometer wire runs through?
