Two smoker day today

My older son has been asking for smoked almonds and the younger one has been asking to do meatballs again. Today was the day to do it. They are using the Bradley today. Tommy is in charge of his almonds and he also wanted to do some italian sausage links. Matthew wanted to do meatballs two ways so one has Montreal Seasoning the other one has Italian Medley on it. They agreed on using hickory. Miracles do happen they agreed on something.

The Bandera has nekked salmon, very meaty beef ribs with Montreal Seasoning on them, and two small nekked steaks. Used pecan and kept the smoker around 230 today.



Note there is only one steak in the pic. I went to sample it and the next thing I know it was gone. Wonder how that happened?

These are the meatiest beef ribs I have ever seen in this area. They were awesome.


Pecan is now my favorite wood. There is no salmon or ribs left. Sausage and meatballs are for dinner tomorrow.
 
Dawn, that is awesome getting the kids involved. Those really are some meaty ribs.....now my shirt is soaked with drool!! Pecan is my favorite to use, such a great smell when smoking and adds a nice flavor to whatever you are smoking.
