TurKey time

  1. I've smoked turkeys in the past, also have fried them. My question for everyone is, I coated the bird in mustard to fry, think it work for the smoker? Feedback would be very helpful. Thank you all and HAPPY THANKSGIVING
     
  2. The only thing I use mustard for is hotdogs. Rub the bird down and give it 15 min. for the rub to draw out a little moisture. I use the same approach for all meats.

    I wouldn't think Fried Mustard would be that tasty , on a Burger , yes , but in a fryer...[​IMG]

    Everyone has their own likings and dislikes. I would try it if it doesnt turn out then now you know not to do it next time. all cooking in general is trial and error!
