Hi, I'm new to smoking. In fact I'm still waiting for our new Char-Broil smoker to be delivered. Would love any kind of input to get started with. My wife and I live in Georgia. We store a lot of food and are hoping this will help us. My wife and I are in our late 50's but we still garden, can & freeze food. We hunt and freeze wild game and want to learn how to smoke some for storage and/or cook out's.

You guys can be a great asset to the site with your canning and freezing skills. Good luck and good smoking, Joe
