Hi all,

I'm looking for a dry brine for whole trout, not filleted, 10-12 inch size. Anyone ever tried it? I've tried the search button but everything comes up with fillets. Thinking of trying something different this spring and I figured i would get a heads up on any potential problems and results. Thanks.

Fish skin is pretty much impenetrable... I'm not sure you will accomplish anything.... Like taking a shower in a rain coat....

Thanks Dave,

Guess I'll stick to liquid for the whole fish but I'm definitely going to try a dry on larger fish fillets.
