Found some tri tips at wally, here is the going on stage, just salt, pepper and rosemarry.
How did it turn out? Tri tip is my favorite just never had it with rosemary
I will tell ya in another 15-20*, its at 115* now ,tryen slow, not sure if thats the thing to do, cookers idle'en at 225-230rpm.
Rosemarry has a UNIQUE flavor, i liked the meat overall, but i now have a new chunck of meat to perfectionize, and the onion was great also.
Ran the tri-tip to 140 internal, on the thinner side. dork me should have probed the thicker side, still a success in my opinion, will work on it , maybe a grill next time.
Take care, have fun, and do good!
For tri tip I have noticed that the simplier the better, salt pepper and olive oil
ya ,i think i will omit the rosemarry next time, but it was still great eats.
I don't care for Rosemary. To me it taste like pine needles
Looks good though Buzz!
