I'm hoping to smoke a turkey breast for a family gathering soon. I plan on smoking it at home and taking it to the gathering about 20 minutes away. What would be the best way to transport it? Foiled, in a cooler? How long would it hold a decent temp before serving? If anyone has any experience with this or suggestions I am all ears.

Yes foil it and wrap with towels in a cooler. It will hold temp for hours so you should be good to go.

Happy smoken.

How does foiling, wrapping and holding in a cooler for several hours affect the crisp of the skin?
