errr. i mean smokin! i just arrived to this forum through some googling. i recently got an ecb, brinkman smoke n grill, from the depot. for the price it seemed like the best place to start! my bday was the 23rd of august and all i wanted to do was smoke all day long and thats what i did. it was my first venture so i decided to go big. smoked a butt, roast, a chicken and some salmon. used some berry weiss in the water bowl for a little experiment. turned out damn good. my g/f is a chef in the kitchen so we tend to experiment here and there. i have done slow cooking before but using only the oven, so i fairly seasoned when it comes to cooking and patience. but i cant wait to learn more from you guys. i was looking for some tips and from the looks of it all i need is here! i am also an avid home brewer and diyer. so the ecb mods are next. i am also looking into smokin some grains for some up coming brews. up on my plate next is a load of peppers and onions for a sauce. along with a chicken and fish. i do plan on smoking a couple of turkeys for tday, so i will be scouring the site looking for tips.
