Basically filled the SnP with ribs. Neighbor was so impressed with the last rib smoke she wanted me to smoke some for her family while I was doing mine. So far the Royal oak lump is doing an admirable job but I added in some large pieces of the Frontier brand. They're super dense and burn a LONG time. Got some apple wood on for smoke and it smells great. Nice sweet smoke. So far so good.

Thanks guys. It's the first time I tried the apple wood. It really made big difference in the taste. The finishing sauce even had a hint of the smoke taste and really added to them.

I think I have the ribs down pretty well. Next smoke will either be pork butt or brisket. What do you guys think i should attempt in the never-ending quest for smoking nirvana and the almighty OTBS seal of approval ?
