I wanted to try out the new stuffer..

Thawed 3 pounds venison and 4 pounds butt.

Used the hi mountain mix and added garlic, slap ya mama and onion.

Also spashed in some chipolte flakes from smoking-K.

I wanted to test out stuff and the stuffer so no grind or mix pics..

I didnt add enough water..it was quite mushy..but no enough.

The stuffer hung up and flipped the breaker several times.then wouldnt go any further near the end.

Next time 2 more cups water.

Anyway I tied it off at MES 30 lenghts and got them smoking this morning.

Will do full pics next time..

Got them out at 155 IT.

Hung in front of fan for an hour..

They dont taste bad...FIL sez he likes em.

I was paying attension to how the stuffer worked this time..next time plenty of pics...

Does the stuffer have a foot pedal to turn it on and off?
They are much tastier after a couple days in the fridge...

Yeah ...I like the motor and foot swtich.

And it has up and down switch too!

Now thoses are some fine looking sticks to Craig. I have to keep going with my sausage making and make some pepperoni sticks. Now I do know that Restaurant depot got butts for 1.39lb here.
