Hello from Florida everyone!  Been doing tons of research on a bunch of forums on building smokers.  Got a hold of a cheapo vertical box smoker a year ago and since then I am determined to get my hands on a quality cooker of my own and really get to work.  So i got my hands on a compressor tank 32in h x 18in d.  Perfect size for someone like me who has no experience building cookers.  I've got some good calculations to start by using some calculators I found online but I have a few good questions I need answering and I know this place will have them!  Look forward to talking with everyone here and getting this build started, on that note...time for me to get out in the garage!!

Lot's of build info on here. My son and I have built quite a few smokers over the last several years,  Dave O has some excellent  info on what ratios you need.

Been checkin out a lot of the build info..some real good stuff on here.  I posted the drawing I made up and Dave tweaked the numbers.  I didn't compensate for the thickness of material haha.  Looked good on paper right?

Appreciate the help!

Welcome to the gang Corey! Lots of experts here who are willing to give good tips.
